BIO
Kismet is the fantasy equivalent of a Mongolian eagle hunter, and a survivor of imperialism and genocide.
His story celebrates the beauty of this earth we share together, and is a cautionary tale against greed and over-exploitation of our planet. It's a story about an innocent person who loses everything they hold dear – a story about cultural identity, coming to understand who you are, the lessons we learn across a lifetime of travels, respecting nature, and the fight to keep moving forward despite great loss. His character is a nod to the profound vitality of nature, and the injustice that all indigenous people had to (and still) endure today. Kismet's people believe that the natural world has much to teach us if we listen, and that aligning our mind and body with the earth is the most sacred gift we can give in this life. His people are connected mentally, spiritually, and emotionally with animals; Kismet himself shares a strong spiritual bond with two companions, a reindeer named Bayar and a golden eagle, Sukh. |
